Event Tech Live 2018 is the annual show dedicated to celebrating the best in event technology. This year, the two day event will take place on the 7th and 8th of November at The Old Truman Brewery in the heart of Shoreditch, East London.

As well as the number of cutting edge startups, tech companies and entrepreneurs that attend Event Tech Live each year, the show also features talks and panel discussions from inspirational speakers covering all aspects of event technology. We’ve put together our pick of five speakers at Event Tech Live 2018 for you to check out.

Our very own Product Director and CMO, Mehram Sumray-Roots will be sharing knowledge on how to create true audience engagement that lasts long after the event ends…            

Since graduating in 2015 and co-founding event tech company YADA Events, Mehram has gone on to become the Director of four companies and recognised by Exhibition News as a 30 Under 30 entrepreneur. She specialises in tech, events, team building and Higher Education. The YADA Events app has been shortlisted for three Event Tech Awards including Best Technology for Engagement and Interaction, Best New Technology Product and Best Technology Partnership.

Alexander Bright – Audience

Alexander Bright, co-founder and MD of creative engagement agency Audience will be joining a panel discussion about tech-savvy brands who are innovating and customising their way to the forefront of events.

Alex has over 10 years of experience in the creative engagement industry. He has delivered multiple B2B and B2C campaigns for the likes of Deloitte, Mitsubishi, M&S, Google, Emirates, Virgin Media and Currys PC World. He has also produced some of London’s largest outdoor events at Tier 1 venues such as Trafalgar Square and the South Bank.

Leslie Hitchcock

Leslie Hitchcock – TechCrunch

When TechCrunch joined forces with networking app Brella to launch CrunchMatch, the hassle-free meeting scheduling program for investors and startups, it became a huge success and the rest is history. TechCrunch’s Director of International Events, Leslie Hitchcock and COO & Co-founder of Brella, Jyrki Paananen join together to discuss the success story behind the idea.

Leslie is currently working as Director of Events at TechCrunch and Engadget. Prior to working at TechCrunch, she was the Marketing Manager at Investors Title Insurance Company, TechTarget as a Campaign Manager of National Accounts and Marketing Programs Manager.

Tim Benson

Tim Benson – SMART Power Ltd

What would the future of events look like with more energy efficient tech? Founder & Production Director of specialist power company SMART Power Ltd tackles the hot topic of energy management at events in a dynamic panel discussion.

Tim is the Founder & Production Director of SMART Power Ltd which specialises in renewable power solutions for live events. He is also an Energy & Environmental Consult with ZAP Concepts UK & Ireland. Tim further heads up the UK chapter of the Sustainable Event Alliance (SEA) & is a founder member of the event industry think-do-tank Powerful Thinking.

Clemi Hardie

Clemi Hardie – Noodle Live

As technology continues to develop at a rapid pace, Managing Director of Noodle Live, the event technology company answers the question of ‘what does the next decade hold?’ in a panel discussion about the tech landscape ten years from now.

Clemi is Managing Director or ‘Head of Pencils’ at Noodle Live, an event tech company working with RFID, mobile apps as well as new and cutting-edge technology. With a background in digital marketing, Clemi has worked on integrated campaigns for the likes of, Argos & Homebase.
